Chamber Heads to Annapolis

Today, a dozen Chamber members attended Business Day in Annapolis to show Maryland elected officials the importance of business in the state.

Keith Scott and Cliff Ishmael, chairman of the Legislative Committee and board member, represented the Chamber at the event.

Attendees heard from Senate President Thomas "Mike" Miller, Speaker of the House Michael Busch, the two Minority Leaders, Del. Anthony O'Donnell and Sen. Allan Kittleman.

Following the panel discussion, Keith and Cliff met one-on-one with five Baltimore County elected officials and talked with at least 13 more throughout the day, discussing efficiency in government, workplace mandates and the effect the budget will have on local jurisdictions.
